MAKE ROOM FOR A NEW DAY

Good mornings
start here.

Your alarms

A fresh start, on your schedule.

Staying on this screen?

Enable audio for web alarms. Keep this app visible, your phone awake, and volume up. Not a substitute for Apple Clock.

Web audio is not enabled.

A new beginning

Saving automatically opens Daybreak Alarm in Shortcuts. Allow it to run. Saving edits may create another Clock alarm; remove the old one in Clock. Repeat and labels must be set separately in Clock.

Your iPhone, connected.

1. Install Daybreak

Open this site in Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen → Add. Installation adds offline access, not background alarm privileges.

2. Create a shortcut once

  1. Open Apple's Shortcuts app. Tap + and name the shortcut exactly Daybreak Alarm.
  2. Add the Clock action Create Alarm.
  3. Press and hold its Time field and choose Shortcut Input (via Select Variable if needed). This app passes a 24-hour time such as 07:30.
  4. Set its label to Daybreak and repeat to Never. Save the shortcut. Action names may vary with iOS language/version.

3. Send and confirm

Tap Save & send to iPhone when creating or editing an alarm. Shortcuts opens automatically. The Send to iPhone ↗ link on a saved alarm is only for retrying. Allow Shortcuts to open and run. Then check Clock → Alarms for the correct time, enabled state, repeat and sound. If iOS asks for the time, select it there.

This is a one-way handoff, not sync. Each run may create another alarm. Saving an edit runs the shortcut again and may create a new Clock alarm; it does not replace the old one. Disabling or deleting a web alarm never changes an existing Apple Clock alarm. The app cannot verify whether a native alarm was created.

No iPhone available? Web mode works only while this page is open and active. Never depend on it for an essential wake-up.
